Job Opportunity: Global Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and diligent Global Logistics Coordinator to manage global containerized shipments, liaise with customs agents and hauliers, and ensure smooth delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, thrive under pressure, and possess a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the company's containerized shipments from various global locations.
  • Liaise with customs agents and a full load haulier network to ensure prompt customs clearance and timely delivery to warehouses and customers.
  • Process shipping invoices and monitor logistics-related costs.
  • Review and verify shipping documents, maintaining communication with suppliers and customers worldwide.
  • Ensure the company secures the best prices and services from shipping lines, customs agents, hauliers, and warehouses.
  • Arrange FOB and FCA shipment bookings with shipping lines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a global logistics or import-export role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of import and export procedures within the UK and EU.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Multilingual candidates will have a distinct advantage.
  • Degree educated.
  • Familiarity with UK customs clearance processes.
