Uniform Care Specialist - London

An exciting opportunity awaits for a Uniform Care Specialist to join the Rooms Department at Raffles London at The OWO.

Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor, your role will involve maintaining and mending colleague uniforms to the highest standards and providing exceptional workmanship for guest alterations. You will assist in the distribution and tracking of staff uniforms promptly and collaborate closely with the laundry team to ensure seamless operations and prevent discrepancies. As an ambassador of Raffles, your interactions with guests and colleagues will reflect our values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate any concerns regarding uniforms with the laundry management team.
  • Inspect and repair staff uniforms as needed; report irreparable garments to the Laundry Manager.
  • Ensure all laundry equipment is well-maintained and report any issues immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the uniform area.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of sewing supplies.
  • Oversee the quality of returned garments from external contractors.
  • Be adaptable and assist with pressing guest and staff garments as directed.
  • Follow established procedures for lost property.
