About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lift Service Engineer to join our team in Newcastle and surrounding areas. As a key member of our Service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our lifts and escalators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out regular planned preventative maintenance and service visits to ensure our lifts and escalators are in optimal condition.
  • Meet agreed customer response times and build strong relationships with our clients to deliver exceptional service.
  • Provide regular updates to the Service Supervisor/Service Manager on the status of maintenance and service activities.
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills and work independently to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • This role does not regularly involve attending call-outs during working hours, and there is no requirement for participation in the out-of-hours call rota.
Requirements
  • NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with lifts and escalators.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • A valid UK driving license.
