About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Advisory Leader to join our Real Estate team at Evelyn Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex tax advisory projects and compliance assignments for a range of clients across the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of complex tax advisory projects and compliance assignments, providing exceptional client service and taking the lead in managing and developing client relationships.
  • Lead transactional work, delivering tax structuring and due diligence for real estate M&A activity, and co-ordinate the delivery of specialist tax advisory work (e.g., VAT, Stamp Taxes, Capital Allowances).
  • Project manage international tax assignments, working with our CLA Global network, and identify opportunities to grow a client account and/or to manage risks.
  • Act as a trusted adviser and engage with clients on wider commercial and strategic issues, providing expert guidance and support.
Requirements
  • Significant UK corporate tax experience gained within the profession and/or industry.
  • Client-driven and commercially minded, with a strong awareness of specialist taxes and their application in the real estate sector.
  • Excellent project management skills, working with various teams including cross-border work, and demonstrable experience of managing people and clients.
  • Excellent communicator, with experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
