About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Associate Director to join our Real Estate Tax team at Grant Thornton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tax advice to our clients in the real estate sector, including tax structuring, tax compliance, and tax due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tax strategies for our clients in the real estate sector
  • Provide tax advice on complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and property funds
  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring that our clients are aware of the latest developments and can make informed decisions

Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or equivalent qualification
  • UK corporate tax experience, ideally within the Real Estate sector
  • Experience of monitoring junior team members' work and coaching / career development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
