Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pharmaceutical Support Specialist to join our esteemed Prescribing Support Team. This role is pivotal in advancing key prescribing initiatives and enhancing medication management within designated GP practices and Care Homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with General Practitioners and multidisciplinary teams to promote effective and evidence-based prescribing.
  • Support the delivery of pharmacotherapy services as part of the GP contract.
  • Engage with patients to assist them in managing their medications effectively.
  • Utilize strong communication and organizational skills to influence positive changes in prescribing practices.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a minimum of NVQ3 or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or an equivalent qualification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council is required. Experience in Primary Care or within a multidisciplinary team is highly desirable.
