We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Architect II to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our Security Architecture & Design team, you will be responsible for guiding the security posture of user-generated experience services, tools, and games throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:- Lead complex design assessments on EA user-generated experience (UGX) products hosted in the Cloud and running on PC, web, mobile, and consoles, identifying and driving the remediation of security and gameplay integrity issues.
- Develop a broad and deep technical understanding of EA's UGX-related products, services, and architectures, using that understanding to guide your reviews and recommendations.
- Translate security and gameplay integrity design principles into requirements that can be understood and repeatedly applied by partner development teams.
- Recognize repeat issue patterns across our games and services, and partner with EA Security, Studio, and Platform teams and their leadership, to solve these at scale.
- Identify and distill external research, influencing how EA identifies and mitigates emergent security and gameplay integrity issues.
- Develop and deliver educational materials to raise security IQ across EA.
- 5 years of experience designing, recommending, and reviewing security controls for complex applications.
- Game industry experience, preferably with experience handling user-generated experiences.
- Expertise in multiple of the following domains: Game Security, User-Generated Experience, Game Modding, Anti-Cheat, Mobile Architecture, Networking, OS Internals, Cloud Architecture, Web Frameworks, Identity and Access Management, DevSecOps, Cryptography.
- Experience with vulnerability scoring frameworks and threat modeling methodologies.
- Experience delivering security or gaming-related conference talks or executive-level presentations.
- Experience with Python preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
