Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our team at BAE Systems (Operations) Limited. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex system architectures to support our business operations.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our project and programme management teams to deliver large-scale IT projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Architect, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and implementing complex system architectures to support our business operations
  • Working closely with our project and programme management teams to deliver large-scale IT projects
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation to support our IT projects
  • Collaborating with our IM&T governance, IM&T operations, and information security teams to ensure that our IT projects align with our business objectives
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to our project teams to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver our IT projects

Key Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Strong technical skills in system architecture, network architecture, and hosting architecture
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in a large-scale IT project environment
  • Experience of working with IM&T governance, IM&T operations, and information security teams
  • Experience of developing and maintaining technical documentation
