Logistics Transport Coordinator

Position Overview
This role is under the supervision of the Regional Ground Network Services Manager, Ground Network Operations Manager, Ground Network Supervisors, and Lead Agents. The Ground Network Services (GNS) agents are essential in facilitating the daily operations of GNS by overseeing truck logistics and ensuring the efficient transit of GNS shipments throughout the network. The position may require various work schedules, including late afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Shift Details: This position operates on a night and day shift schedule from 18:00 - 06:00 / 06:00 – 18:00 with a 4 on 4 off rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the seamless and timely movement of freight.
- Perform accurate and prompt data entry into the operational system.
- Optimize route planning and maximize truck utilization.
- Engage with customers (both internal and external) to coordinate their shipments while adhering to service standards.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Comply with all internal and external regulations in line with government standards.
- Understand departmental workflows and seek best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and uphold all standard operating procedures.
- Achieve KPI targets as per company protocols.
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner.
- Escalate issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
- Proactive with robust organizational capabilities.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English is required.
