Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient transportation strategies to minimize operational costs and maximize service quality.
  • Collaborate with service providers to ensure seamless execution of transportation operations.
  • Analyze and optimize routes to reduce transit times and improve overall logistics performance.
  • Lead daily service reviews with service providers to discuss performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide high-quality operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and propose policy or service provider changes to improve logistics efficiency and service quality.
  • Work closely with department managers to evaluate transportation needs and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop new strategies to enhance service quality and boost profitability.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of local geography, traffic conditions, routing options, and transit times.
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures, including security, health and safety, and compliance.
  • Awareness of local transportation mandates, such as driver hours and road traffic regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop, evaluate, and recommend different options.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
