Food and Beverage Service Associate

Château de Mercuès is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, taking orders and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Answer questions about menu items, including drinks and specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Take ownership of guest requirements and food allergies, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is ensured.
- Follow health and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for guests and colleagues.
- Process charges and payments, handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, working collaboratively to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Dedicated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Natural passion and flair for the hospitality industry and food service.
- Ability to work unsupervised, using initiative and judgment when needed.
- Ambition to succeed at the highest levels, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Additional share of service charge and tips every 2 months.
- 28-day holiday entitlement, including bank holidays.
