Deputy Head of Nursing Leadership

The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Nursing to join our Senior Nursing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Nurse Leader to contribute to the development and implementation of nursing strategies that enhance patient care and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and participate in developments that enhance the patient / carer experience.
- Provide clear and visible leadership to patients and staff.
- Agree, monitor, and implement standards of clinical and non-clinical care to ensure the highest standards are continually met.
- Prioritize and lead a diverse team, establishing and maintaining close liaison with other team members for the overriding objective of maintaining and improving an efficient and high-quality progressive service.
- Senior nursing management experience.
- Management of clinical services.
- Experience of workforce planning and recruitment and retention strategies, including budget and resources.
- RN/NMC register.
- Experience of senior nursing management or professional leadership in a large and/or complex healthcare setting.
- Ability to make decisions autonomously.
