About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Nurse Leader to join our Senior Nursing team as Deputy Head of Nursing. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and participate in developments that enhance the patient and carer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in developments that enhance the patient and carer experience.
  • Provide clear and visible leadership to patients and staff.
  • Agree, monitor, and implement standards of clinical and non-clinical care to ensure the highest standards are continually met.
  • Prioritize and lead a diverse team, establishing and maintaining close liaison with other team members for the overriding objective of maintaining and improving an efficient and high-quality progressive service.

Person Specification
  • Senior nursing management experience.
  • Management of clinical services.
  • Experience of workforce planning and recruitment and retention strategies - budget and resources.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record of leadership and management experience in a large and complex healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate professional ability, innovative thinking, and the ability to articulate a clear vision for future patient care.
