Job Title: Senior Audiologist - Auditory Implants Specialist

Job Summary:

The Transformation Unit is seeking an experienced Senior Audiologist to lead the development of our Auditory Implants Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to patients with complex auditory implant needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical pathways for auditory implant patients
  • Collaborate with ENT surgeons, Audiovestibular Physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide rehabilitation services for patients with auditory implants
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including cochlear implant manufacturers and research institutions
  • Contribute to the development of service specifications and national audiology protocols

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Audiology or equivalent
  • UK registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience in cochlear implantation and auditory implant rehabilitation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
