Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team as a Senior Audiologist - Clinical Leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive adult audiology services, including diagnostic assessment, speech testing, and rehabilitation. The post holder will also provide leadership to junior staff, participate in clinical audit, research, and clinical governance of the Audiology service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct hearing management of the adult population, including diagnostic assessment, speech testing, and rehabilitation.
  • Provide leadership to junior staff, including regular 1:1 meetings, clinical supervision, and appraisals.
  • Participate in clinical audit, research, and clinical governance of the Audiology service.
  • Design and lead audits within the service and participate in data collections for larger projects.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the adult service for a specified area and site.
  • Responsible for department stock management and supporting Health and Safety compliance for the Department.

Requirements

  • BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualifications.
  • Registered with the RCCP, ACHS, or HCPC.
  • Substantive experience in adult Audiology, including working with complex patients.
  • Good communication skills, leadership skills, and excellent patient care attitude.
