Position Overview
As a Clinical Audiology Specialist within the Audiology Adult Diagnostic Department, you will deliver exceptional audiological services to adult patients presenting with diverse complexities.
Your role will involve collaborating with your supervisor to ensure that the needs of our service users are prioritized through the provision of superior care. As a recognized center of excellence, you will adopt a patient-centered approach to enhance their independence and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold a high standard of clinical practice while conducting Adult Diagnostic testing procedures.
- Manage an adult patient caseload primarily focused on hearing assessment procedures.
- Assist colleagues in Audiovestibular Medicine (AVM) and Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) with audiological evaluations.
- Treat all patients with respect and compassion in a secure and supportive environment, adhering to clinical governance standards.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential
- BSc in Clinical Audiology or equivalent knowledge.
- State registration as a Clinical Physiologist in Audiology or Professional Body examinations BAA (British Association of Audiologists) Part I & II.
- Membership of BAA or BSA (British Society of Audiologists).
- MHAS (Modernised Hearing Aid Services) training.

- Proficient in applying information for the effective use of hearing aids for adult users.
