About the Role:

Parkside is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a 9-12 month contract. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office. The successful candidate will be based in brand new offices with excellent onsite facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase monies due at the end of the month, ensuring timely payments.
  • Deal with overdues efficiently, making repeat phone calls and liaising with sales force, contact centre & warehouse.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are performed on time and accurately.
  • Work with sales teams to collect overdue debts promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain customer accounts, ensuring they are up to date and correctly reconciled in all systems.
  • Deal with customer price and delivery queries.
  • Complete administrative tasks to a monthly deadline.
  • Make decisions with the business and customer in mind.
  • Attend meetings as a representative of Credit Control, discussing problem areas to contain credit exposure.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Supply Chain, AP, Business Controlling, Sales, Accounts, and IT, on transactional/account handling queries related to credit matters.
  • Be responsible for own sales ledgers to ensure efficient cash collection.

Requirements:

  • Excellent level of written and verbal communication.
  • 2+ years experience in a Credit Control role.
  • SAP - Desirable.
  • MS Word and Excel.
