An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled German Credit Controller to join a successful multi-sited company based in their head office near Slough. The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of approximately 300-350 German accounts, ensuring timely and effective credit control.
- Regularly review customer credit limits, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
- Utilize discretion and judgment to collect debts through various stages of the credit control process, employing both phone and written communication.
- Take appropriate action to stop debt collection and issue 7-day legal notices when required.
- Collaborate with senior credit controllers to initiate HMCS legal action against customers when necessary.
- Facilitate swift resolution of customer queries to enable efficient debt collection.
- Proven experience in high-volume phone-based debt collection.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is essential.
- Fluency in German is a fundamental requirement.
