About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and implementing national strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Utilize clinical and key account management expertise to implement national strategies and achieve sales growth.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute account plans.
  • Lead the development and implementation of account plans across the health economy, addressing capacity and access barriers to ensure rapid uptake of our cardiovascular medicines.
  • Strategically allocate resources to key accounts, monitor progress, and evolve plans to maximize impact.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through a multichannel strategy, driving sales growth and preparing for future brand launches.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of high performance in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within the cardiovascular field.
  • Strong understanding of customer drivers and the NHS, including commissioning pathways, funding streams, and implementation of NICE guidance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop productive partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and a willingness to adapt to change.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate proactivity in all tasks.
