About the Role

As a Regional Care Assistant with Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius, helping our residents to get the most out of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the delivery of care when on duty
  • Contribute to the person-centred care planning process for each resident
  • Record observations on temperature, blood pressure, and other important tasks
  • Provide support and companionship to residents
  • Ensure every resident enjoys meaningful one-to-one time with our carers, every single shift

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a background in care and a good understanding of elderly care. A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care would be beneficial, as would a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry. Ideally, you will also have a C or above in GCSE English and Maths.

Requirements

  • Dedicated and compassionate, with a passion for people
  • Ability to travel across the area, with either your own car or ready access to one
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to support the wellbeing of residents
