A new opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Night Nurse Coordinator to work in an independent mental health hospital based in the East Sussex area. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider.

The hospital specialises in the management and treatment of mental health problems, with residential facilities for patients and outpatient services.

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified as an RGN or RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As the Night Nurse Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing hospital operations
  • Providing effective clinical leadership and support to the nursing and healthcare team
  • Overseeing patient care, ensuring safe staffing levels and effective incident management
  • Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
  • Contributing to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Mentoring and supporting staff through supervisions and post-incident debriefs
  • Reviewing and responding to incoming referrals and supporting wards with admissions

  • Experience in a managerial or leadership role within a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to patient-centred care, quality, and safety
  • Ability to balance conflicting demands using adaptive thinking and positive problem-solving
