Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Scout to join our PC & Console publishing team in Leamington Spa. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and securing potential hit games for our PC & Console division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Game Identification: Utilize your extensive knowledge of games, research insights, and industry experience to identify high-quality PC & Console games for potential publication.
  • Game Evaluation: Analyze sourced or submitted games, supporting our internal due diligence process.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage Publishing Scouts and Publishing Evangelists.
  • Developer Network: Establish, build, and maintain a wide network of developer contacts to foster strong industry relationships.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends to inform team activities, capitalize on emerging opportunities, and implement best-in-class publishing and scouting strategies.
  • Insight Presentation: Present key publishing insights to the Head of PC and Console Publishing as necessary.
  • Game Research: Play our games and research competitor products to understand what drives success in the PC & Console market.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 2+ years of experience or equivalent in Video Game Scouting, Business Development, or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM Management, and Networking skills (specific tools/software).
  • Deal Signing: A proven track record of signing deals and winning business from competitors.
  • Industry Knowledge: An understanding of the legal framework in the industry and what a win/win scenario looks like.
  • International Travel: International travel to games industry events will be required.
  • Work Arrangement: Based in our office in Leamington Spa, following our hybrid model with 4 days per week on-site.
