Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Tools Engineer to join our team. As a Tools Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of tools that empower our development team to deliver high-quality games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design, develop, and maintain tools that support our production pipeline
  • Implement and improve existing tools and features based on user feedback and evolving needs
  • Ensure tools are robust, reliable, and optimized for performance
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in tool development
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Tools Engineer in the game development industry
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C++
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Passion for game development and a desire to create impactful tools

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • Knowledge of common DCC tools, such as Maya, 3DS Max, or Houdini
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
