About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team at AtkinsRéalis, a leading global consultancy with over 100 years of design and engineering expertise. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects, influencing the growth and development of the project management team, and progressing in your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality project and programme management standards.
  • Advise clients on project cost, programme, risks, and issues.
  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary professional team.
  • Lead communications and relationships with clients and their stakeholders.
  • Produce monthly reports including project programmes, risk registers, etc.
  • Implement effective and efficient communication tools.
  • Positively influence the internal team and seek to add value.
  • Manage key client relationships.
  • Assist in generating repeat business and developing new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified (degree or HNC in a relevant Engineering Discipline preferable).
  • Significant experience of Project Manager roles on large-scale multidisciplinary projects.
  • Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with clients to protect and meet Atkins' commercial objectives.
  • Experience of working in the nuclear industry.
  • Experience of managing a project portfolio.
  • Good understanding of Design procedures, change control, checking, and Review requirements.
  • Experience of leading large multidisciplinary teams.
