About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the installation of mechanical plant and equipment on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate the installation of mechanical plant and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient delivery to site.
  2. Process isometrics and drawings in accordance with project requirements and issue construction packages to installation supervisors.
  3. Coordinate plant and equipment installation, including sub-contract activities and ensure all scaffolding and tools are readily available.
  4. Review and report weekly progress against the programme with the M, E & I Installation Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of fulfilling a mechanical engineering role on construction projects.
  2. Previous experience of project delivery on a nuclear licensed site.
  3. Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering (minimum HNC).
  4. Good knowledge of Mech Engineering practices and ability to follow drawings and specifications.
  5. Proven ability to manage a small team of supervisors and blue collar ops and sub-contractors.
  6. Previous experience working on the installation of bogey & rail systems in a nuclear environment is an advantage.
  7. Previous experience of working with and on EOTC Cranes is an advantage.
