We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Supervisor to join our team at Westlakes Recruit. As a key member of our nuclear recruitment team, you will be responsible for managing labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to ensure that construction activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, ensuring that the company's reputation and interests are protected.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with the company's quality management system, and that all work is completed to the required standards.
Requirements:
- Education: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior construction role, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of construction professionals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
