About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Strategist to join our team at Edenbrook. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in defining, analyzing, and executing business change strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis and Strategy
    • Review current and target business-states, applying business modelling and analytical techniques to identify and prioritize gaps.
    • Provide analytical expertise to support stakeholders and subject matter experts in the definition, documentation, and prioritization of business outcomes.
    • Provide critical analysis of business outcomes through various techniques, validating and collaborating across teams.
  • Portfolio Management
    • Support the Head of Strategy Delivery and Change Finance in the creation and management of the portfolio roadmap.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalating issues.
    • Develop close working relationships with subject matter experts, heads of department, project/programme managers, and sponsors to drive decisions.
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Instigate, prepare, facilitate, and lead meetings, workshops, and presentations for a wide range of audiences.
    • Document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps and define to-be business processes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable understanding of business analysis and change management tools and techniques within the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of business process management, workflow, and integration methods with a strong analytical background.
  • Proven experience in agile change frameworks with an understanding of finance processes.
  • Business analysis or business architecture certification.
