Job Title: Adult's and Children's Finance Business Analyst

Job Description:

I am currently partnering with Edenbrook to recruit a Finance Business Analyst. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you'll be at the forefront of defining, analyzing, and executing business change strategies. Leveraging your expertise in business modeling, process mapping, and analytical techniques to identify gaps, prioritize business outcomes, and ensure successful delivery.

  • Business Analysis: Review current and target business-states, applying business modeling and analytical techniques in order to identify and prioritize gaps.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide analytical expertise to support Stakeholders/SME in the definition, documentation, and prioritization of Business Outcomes.
  • Critical Analysis: Provide critical analysis of business outcomes through a variety of techniques, validating and collaborating across teams.
  • Portfolio Management: Support the Head of Strategy Delivery and Change Finance in the creation and management of the Portfolio Roadmap.
  • Conflict Resolution: Help resolve competing in-pillar priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalate issues.
  • Relationship Building: Develop close working relationships with Subject Matter Experts, Heads of Department, Project/Programme Managers, and Sponsors to drive decisions.
  • Process Documentation: Document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps and define to-be business processes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrable understanding of Business Analysis and Change Management tools and techniques within the Insurance industry.
  • Business Process Management: Knowledge of business process management, workflow, and integration methods with a strong analytical background.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proven experience in Agile change frameworks with an understanding of finance processes.
  • Certifications: Business Analysis or Business Architecture certification.
