Job Overview
Oxford University Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our Neurosciences Intensive Care team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working in partnership with patients and their families, and managing and directing the nursing care for a defined caseload of patients.
Main Duties
- Provide evidence-based patient care, adhering to the best practices and OUH values.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and maintain high standards of nursing care, reflecting professional nursing practice and patient care.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner, being a role model to others.
- Develop skills to provide senior nurse cover for the department.
- Work proactively to ensure every hospital visit meets the needs of the patient.
