Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Inventory/Stock Controller to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock levels using IT systems and digital devices to ensure accurate inventory tracking and optimization.
  • Own the Perpetual Inventory program, completing regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into stock discrepancies, including root cause analysis, to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Drive optimization of warehouse layout and efficiency to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Enter data accurately and efficiently to ensure the WMS system is up-to-date, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Perform stock rotation and disposal duties to maintain a well-organized and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Merchandise inventory to ensure optimum pick performance and minimize stockouts.
  • Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to ensure seamless collaboration and achieve shared goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production and finance, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Perform other reasonable duties associated with the role as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Inventory/Stock Controller or similar role, with a strong track record of inventory management and control.
  • Excellent team player with a flexible approach to a variety of duties and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with WMS software and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail, with excellent record-keeping abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, with experience working with similar software.
