Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's dynamic team based in Rochester. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting both reactive and planned maintenance on machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks
  • Maintain accurate records within our MaintainX system
  • Coordinate with contractors for machine services
  • Control spare parts inventory and oversee all service documentation
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and provide support to the production team as needed

Requirements:

  • Completion of an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or a similar qualification with relevant experience
  • Electrical Engineering qualification
  • 17th or 18th Edition qualified
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing setting is essential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs
  • Excellent analytical and fault-finding abilities
  • Knowledge of electric motors and pneumatics, along with basic mechanical skills
