Job Description: Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering TechnicianThis role ensures compliance with safety regulations and policies, conducts preventative maintenance, and provides high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
We're looking for individuals with multi-skilled knowledge in electrical and mechanical disciplines, relevant experience in automation or complex MHE environments, and a solid foundational knowledge of PLC-based controls systems. Ability to communicate in English and the local language is also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Implementing health and safety best practices
- Maintaining Subject Matter Expert (SME) levels of knowledge on Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Coaching and mentoring technicians
- Supporting the line manager and supervising the shift
- Providing high levels of equipment availability through troubleshooting and prioritizing
- Supporting continuous improvement of systems across the EU network
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships across all levels
- Understanding of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and equipment performance metrics
- Management of contractors
- Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation or complex MHE environments
- Solid foundational knowledge of PLC-based controls systems
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Knowledge of Statutory Compliance requirements
- Ability to communicate in English and the local language
- 5 GCSE, NVQ3, ONC/D, C&G 2330, 17th Ed
- Proven ability to supervise and influence others
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and workload
- Experience of multi-contractor management
- Experience in a multi-site environment
- Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
**Estimated Salary:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
