Position Overview

A Technical Support Specialist is sought by Younique Recruitment to join a prominent multi-academy trust in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Support Specialist will be expected to possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of relevant commercial IT support experience, or a candidate with a recognized IT qualification.
  • Recent school leavers, such as those who have just completed their A-levels and are seeking their first role in IT support, will also be considered.
  • The IT Career Switch (IT Technician) qualification is highly regarded.
Technical Skills Required
  • 1st line support experience
  • Proficiency in Windows desktop support, specifically Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
Interpersonal Skills

Strong face-to-face communication skills are essential, along with the ability to assist customers via phone, email, and remote support.

Additional Information

A driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred, although not mandatory for the right candidate. Travel between various sites may be required, but public transport options are available for those who do not drive.
