About the Role

Dovetail and Slate Ltd is seeking a dedicated MIS Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring data accuracy and compliance within a leading education provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the completeness of data submissions and related funding applications by developing and maintaining robust data validation procedures.
  • Utilize data tools and software to thoroughly examine and resolve ILR data discrepancies. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and promptly report any exceptions.
  • Prepare comprehensive data reports for relevant agencies, provide support during audit processes, and actively participate in quality inspections.
  • Maintain accurate timetables, efficiently resolve booking conflicts, and ensure room allocations are optimized to meet curriculum requirements and adhere to compliance standards.
  • Contribute to staff training on the student records system, offer expert guidance to curriculum teams, and continuously monitor data quality and adherence to regulations.
  • Foster strong communication with leadership and departments regarding data accuracy, room utilization, and provide insightful management reports on timetabling and space usage.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the education sector.
  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully pass a DBS check.
