Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustainability Team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, while completing the Level 3 Junior Energy Manager Apprenticeship. This role is a two-year fixed-term contract.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team of energy and sustainability professionals within the Estates and Facilities Department. This includes providing projects to manage and supporting the training that will be provided by an external apprenticeship management company. At least 20% of the successful applicants' role will consist of formal training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and present data in a clear and attractive format, such as monthly energy performance reports.
- Carbon Footprint Reduction: Assist with the creation and implementation of plans to improve the carbon footprint of the Trust.
- Energy Audits and Surveys: Complete internal energy audits, surveys, and checks, such as energy monitoring.
- Policy Review and Implementation: Assist in reviewing policies and practices in light of new or changing regulation, best practice, and Trust policy.
