SQL Database Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join our client's database team in central London. The successful candidate will work on various projects, handling tasks independently, making informed decisions, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold current or recently lapsed SC Clearance
  • Develop robust SQL and database solutions
  • Lead migrations of BI stacks from older versions to newer versions
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, including SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Visual Studio, and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Optimize existing BI-related code and analyze SQL queries to improve performance
  • Take ownership of code reviews and actively participate in peer reviews
  • Support the full data lifecycle, contributing to an agile working environment
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues when necessary
  • Experience with Terraform, Git, and PowerShell is a plus
