Overview

Utah State University is seeking qualified individuals to serve as clinical educators for nursing students. This role involves providing essential clinical instruction and support to enhance the educational experience of nursing students.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements a structured curriculum with clear, measurable objectives for each clinical course.
  • Facilitates and oversees both individual and group learning in clinical and simulation environments.
  • Assesses and evaluates student learning outcomes.
  • Maintains accurate records of student performance and evaluations.
  • Provides guidance and support to students as necessary.
  • Collaborates with the nursing program to uphold high educational standards.
  • Ensures a safe and conducive clinical learning environment.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or enrollment in a BSN or MSN program is preferred.
  • At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing in the State of Utah or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Advertised Salary

Compensation for this position is set at $40.00 per hour.

ADA Compliance

This role requires moderate physical activity, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and engage in walking and standing. Adherence to safety protocols and the use of protective equipment may be necessary.
