Job Summary

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and engineering services in Scotland, serving Ryanair's fleet of New Generation Boeing series aircraft. We are seeking a skilled Composite Workshop Shift Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and organize manpower and planning to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Organize and evaluate repairs, allocating and prioritizing tasks and managing technical jobs to meet deadlines.
  • Order and progress spares, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with maintenance and company procedures.
  • Enforce company regulations and policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop skills of all staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics, through training and mentorship.
  • Assist with and carry out composite repairs, utilizing expertise and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in supervising or managing manpower, preferably in an MRO environment.
  • Strong background in MRO composite repair, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to obtain or willingness to work towards gaining company CRS approval.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
