Composite Workshop Shift Supervisor

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and engineering services in Scotland, serving Ryanair's fleet of New Generation Boeing series aircraft at our Hangar facility in Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

We are seeking a skilled Composite Workshop Shift Supervisor to join our team of highly trained staff, each playing a vital role in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world's largest and most successful airlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and organize manpower and planning to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Organize and evaluate repairs, allocating and prioritizing tasks and managing technical jobs.
  • Order and progress spares, ensuring documentation is completed correctly in accordance with maintenance and company procedures.
  • Enforce company regulations and policies, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Develop skills of all staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics, and assist with composite repairs.
  • Perform additional tasks allocated by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in supervising or managing manpower is preferred.
  • MRO composite repair experience is essential.
  • Must have or be willing to work towards gaining company CRS approval.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is required.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK is mandatory.
