Job Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to functions within Research and Innovation, including supporting research study set-up and delivery, events management, finance, rostering, and training systems. This role will be based across three primary R&I locations: Rico House, Harrop House, and Rawnsley Building.

Main Duties
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with researchers, professionals, service users, and managers.
  • Provide up-to-date research information to Directorates and Service Leads.
  • Liaise with services across the Trust to support them in understanding the importance of recruiting to studies and provision of information in a suitable format.
  • Communicate with patients/service users sensitively as required.
  • Liaise with research networks regarding recruitment data and targets.
  • Liaise with the Clinical Research Delivery team and the Research Office as required.
  • Liaise with study contacts concerning the upload of recruitment data to the CPMS and LPMS databases.
  • Communicate with a range of staff at all levels.
  • Respond to queries from service users involved in research studies. Co-ordinate and facilitate the dissemination of information to and from the team.
  • Assist in production of R&I publications to help promote research, increase awareness, and engagement.
  • Assist with arranging conferences, seminars, workshops, and training events.
  • Organise venues and catering.
  • Co-ordinate bookings/registration processes for conferences and other events.
  • Liaise with presenters and delegates.
  • Attend and service events.
  • Assist in conducting audits.
