The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to functions within Research and Innovation, including research study set-up and delivery, events management, finance monitoring, rostering, and training systems. This role will be based across three primary R&I locations: Rico House, Harrop House, and Rawnsley Building.
Main Duties- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with researchers, professionals, service users, and managers.
- Provide up-to-date research information to Directorates and Service Leads.
- Liaise with services across the Trust to support recruitment to studies and provision of information in a suitable format.
- Communicate with patients/service users sensitively as required.
- Liaise with research networks regarding recruitment data and targets.
- Liaise with the Clinical Research Delivery team and the Research Office as required.
- Liaise with study contacts concerning the upload of recruitment data to the CPMS and LPMS databases.
- Communicate with a range of staff at all levels.
- Respond to queries from service users involved in research studies.
- Coordinate and facilitate the dissemination of information to and from the team.
- Assist in production of R&I publications to promote research and increase awareness.
- Assist with arranging conferences, seminars, workshops, and training events.
- Organize venues and catering.
- Coordinate bookings/registration processes for conferences and other events.
- Liaise with presenters and delegates.
- Attend and service events.
- Assist in conducting audits.
