Job Overview
The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to functions within Research and Innovation. Key responsibilities include supporting research study setup and delivery, event management, monitoring finance and training systems, and general administrative tasks. This position will be based across three primary R&I locations.
The position involves utilizing IT skills, such as MS Office 365, maintenance of databases, competency with Word, Excel, and Windows, use of the internet, and the Trust's electronic patient records system.
Main Duties of the Job
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with various individuals and groups.
- Provide up-to-date research information to Directorates and Service Leads.
- Liaise with services across the Trust to support recruitment to studies.
- Communicate with patients/service users sensitively as needed.
- Coordinate with research networks regarding recruitment data and targets.
- Assist in the production of R&I publications.
- Assist with arranging conferences, seminars, workshops, and training events.
- Coordinate bookings/registration processes for conferences and events.
- Assist in conducting audits and surveys.
