- Supporting events management
- Monitoring finance, rostering, and training systems
- General administrative and secretarial tasks
This role will be based across the three primary R&I locations, providing administrative support to functions within Research and Innovation.
Main Duties of the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of individuals and groups, including researchers, professionals, service users, and managers
- Providing up-to-date research information to Directorates and Service Leads
- Liaising with services across the Trust to support them in understanding the importance of recruiting to studies and provision of information in a suitable format
- Communicating with patients/service users sensitively as required
- Liaising with research networks regarding recruitment data and targets
- Liaising with the Clinical Research Delivery team and the Research Office as required
- Liaising with study contacts concerning the upload of recruitment data to the CPMS and LPMS databases
- Communicating with a range of staff at all levels
- Responding to queries from service users involved in research studies
- Coordinating and facilitating the dissemination of information to and from the team
- Assisting in the production of R&I publications to help promote research and increase awareness
- Assisting with arranging conferences, seminars, workshops, and training events
- Preparing conference and workshop materials
- Advertising events by various methods in a suitable manner
- Organizing venues and catering
- Coordinating bookings/registration processes for conferences and other events
- Liaising with presenters and delegates
- Attending and servicing events
- Assisting in conducting audits
