We are seeking an AI Systems Simulation Specialist to enhance our expanding team. In this role, you will be tasked with creating a comprehensive suite of AI and physics model products aimed at the control and optimization of industrial machinery. You will implement mathematical representations of real-world physical systems and collaborate with the AI team to ensure that simulation engines meet their designated purposes.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in a relevant field such as engineering or science (physics, mathematics, computer science) or an equivalent qualification. An advanced degree may be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Proven experience in areas such as game physics programming, digital twin technology, chemical process simulation, or other physical modeling that balances performance with accuracy.
- Proficient in software architecture with a solid grasp of algorithm design, complexity analysis, resource management, design patterns, and API development.
- In-depth knowledge of numerical methods applicable to physics simulations, including differential equation solvers, numerical integration techniques, statistical sampling, and finite element analysis.
- Strong mathematical foundation, encompassing vector calculus, linear algebra, and three-dimensional geometry.
- Proficient programming skills in Python, with additional experience in C++ being advantageous.
- Capability to develop visualization tools that enhance simulation models, including graphing and 3D visualizations using Python or JavaScript.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring the successful candidate to commute to the office on a weekly basis.
