Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to take on the role of Associate Director – Strategic Initiatives. In this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Dean for External Relations, and the Dean to influence and implement significant projects that align with the School's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and implement strategic projects as directed by the Dean and Leadership Team, managing all facets from financial forecasting to team collaboration and performance tracking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, both within and outside the organization, ensuring their engagement and support for various initiatives.
  • Ensure that project objectives are in line with the University's strategic framework, proactively identifying risks and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and standards.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategies aimed at enhancing the School's external relations, representing the institution at significant events.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in large, complex organizations, preferably within a prestigious university setting. You should exhibit strong strategic planning capabilities, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to manage a diverse and changing workload. Proficiency in budget management, project execution, and stakeholder engagement is essential, along with a solid understanding of IT and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
