Job OverviewAs a Sheetmetal Fabricator, you will work alongside a team of skilled engineers and technicians to assist in the production and development of engineering projects. You will be hands-on with machinery and tools, ensuring the smooth execution of tasks while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Developing the fabrication, assembly, and testing of ventilation system components
- Operating workshop tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute tasks accurately
- Collaborating with engineers and other team members on project design and development
- Maintaining workshop organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance
- Following all safety regulations and procedures, and promoting a safe working environment
- Supporting troubleshooting and problem-solving on mechanical and technical issues
- Previous experience in a sheet metal workshop or similar environment
- Hands-on experience with relevant machinery, tools, and equipment (e.g. welding, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Relevant certifications in machinery operation, welding, or health and safety are a plus
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks and work in a demanding environment
