We are seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our team at Sigma Engineering Product Design Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the production and development of our ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and fabricate ventilation system components, ensuring high-quality standards and safety regulations are met.
- Operate and maintain workshop tools, machinery, and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members on project design and development, contributing to the success of our projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving on mechanical and technical issues, providing solutions to ensure project completion.
- Previous experience in a sheet metal workshop or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience with relevant machinery, tools, and equipment (e.g., welding, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Relevant certifications in machinery operation, welding, or health and safety are a plus.
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks and work in a demanding environment.
