We are seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our team at Sigma Engineering Product Design Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in the development and manufacturing of commercial and industrial ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and fabricate ventilation system components, ensuring high-quality standards and precision engineering.
- Operate workshop tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to strict safety regulations and procedures.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute tasks accurately and effectively.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members on project design and development, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions.
- Maintain workshop organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving on mechanical and technical issues, utilizing strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Previous experience in a sheet metal workshop or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience with relevant machinery, tools, and equipment (e.g. welding, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Relevant certifications in machinery operation, welding, or health and safety are a plus.
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks and work in a demanding environment.
