Facilities Caretaker - Norse Group

Location: Kentisbeare Primary School Salary: £26,600 pro rata (equivalent to £12.92 per hour) Weekly Hours: 20 Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 15:30 - 19:30

Norse Group is a leading provider of facilities management services, offering comprehensive support across various sectors. We are currently seeking a dedicated Facilities Caretaker to join our established team at a primary school on a permanent, part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Facilities Caretaker, you will work on-site under the guidance of a regional supervisor, ensuring that the premises and grounds are maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include managing the tools and materials used in your duties, ensuring proper inventory and secure storage.

This role will also encompass additional site management tasks, including addressing general maintenance concerns, overseeing site security, and performing minor repair work as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial; however, we provide comprehensive training and support for motivated individuals who can demonstrate the following:

Ability to deliver exceptional customer service Confidence in working independently as well as collaboratively Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships Comfort in engaging with the public Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the role is advantageous
