About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Advisor to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our Fleet Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles and trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the maintenance and repair of our fleet, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best possible prices for maintenance and repairs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to drivers and operators to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure optimal fleet performance.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of fleet-related activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HGV vehicle maintenance and repairs, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
